Craigslist is a great website to find things you are wanting to buy, as well as to find buyers for things you want to sell. It also is a great place to find a great variety of job postings.

Since being laid off, I have religously purused Craigslist job postings pretty much every day. One thing I have found is that there is a great variety in the quality of the job postings.

Some of the best quality job ads go into great detail about what the job entails and the requirements. These kind also usually have good spelling and grammar. More often than not, they also include the name of the company and a non-anonymous contact email. These kind are good because they give you the ability to check the company out before sending your information, and also allows you to easily see if you match what they are looking for. (more…)
