Montana Plane Crash - Three Degrees of Separation
Over the last few days there have been several tragic plane crashes where everyone on board died. I’ve felt sorry for the families of the people who died, but really didn’t think about it much beyond that.
Last night I received a phone call from my dad. He told me that the the families who were on the plane in the Montana crash were Seventh-day Adventists (which is our family’s faith.)
Then he told me that one of the father’s on the plane who was a
surgeon was the son of the man who performed heart surgery on my grandmother (dad’s mom) in 1997. Wow!
The plane had started its journey in Redlands, CA which is a town next to Loma Linda, CA. Loma Linda University Medical Center is a Seventh-day Adventist facility which is a teaching hospital. It is internationally known for the first baboon heart transplant in an infant.
All of the adults on the plane were graduates of Loma Linda University. Two of the wives were sisters.
So many lives cut short, so quickly. My heart goes out to the family and loved ones of those who died in the plane crash.

Things like this are always sad. You feel bad for the families always, but this brings to light just how far a persons touch and reach can be and just how far the pain can reach.
So sorry to hear that.
It’s very sad. Many lives have been affected by it.
I just read a review of your site on http://reviewme.today.com. You did pretty well on the review, don’t you think?
This is awful. It’s always startling to find what a small world we really live in huh?
