Take a moment to think about this. You want to get together with friends or family members. More often than not, that means that food will be involved.

You can either have everyone meet at a restaurant, where each person will end up spending at least $10. Or, you can go with a different option - a potluck!

If you grew up in a church environment, then you probably know what a potluck is. Even if you didn’t, you might know. In case you don’t though, I will explain.

Potluck:

• a gathering of people, either individuals or groups or a combination
• each  individual or group brings a food item within a pre-set course (appetizer, entree, desert, drink)
• all foods are set out buffet style
