Life Is Grand - It Really Is
This past week a fellow blogger, Pattye , who writes wonderful stories about her two rescued greyhounds, along with other life stories, honored me with the Life Is Grand award.
Having lost my job on the 13th, I am finding it even more important to count my blessings, or to remember just how Grand life can be. So, this award came at a very good time.
Five Reasons Life Is Grand:
- I am loved by a God and Creator who will never fail me nor leave me.
- I am loved and supported by family and friends who only want what is best for me.
- Because I’ve lived below my means, I am not panicking about finances even without an income
- My brother is calling me more than usual - to check up on me.
(P.S. I asked him to write an article for my blog. He sent it to me last night - it is fantastic! Be on the lookout for it - especially if you like to play golf!) - Every day that I am alive is a blessing - it gives me another chance to see a sunrise or a sunset, to watch a child playing unabashedly, to hug a friend or to be hugged by a friend, to touch someone else’s life in some way.
Here are 5 blogs I am passing on this award to:
- The Caregiving Daughter
- 30 Something And Searching
- Counting My Pennies
- Lost Fan
- From Huskies To Husbands
