Twenty Days and Twenty Ways To Show You Care Without Breaking the Budget: Day 3
On Day 2 of the series Twenty Days and Twenty Ways to Show You Care Without Breaking the Budget I talked about I Care Coupons.
Today’s idea could be a fun way of adding to the gift. Remember, it’s the thought you put into it that really counts, not whether you can write like Shakespeare!
Materials:
- 6 - 10 slips of paper
- writing utensil
- markers (optional)
- good hiding places
- an inexpensive prize, such as the I Care Coupons
Instructions:
On each slip of paper, write something that you appreciate about the other person. Include a clue about where they will find the next hint. When they reach the end, have an inexpensive treasure waiting for them. *Remember, these ideas aren’t just for couples!
Sample Clues:
- I appreciate you because you make me such delicious meals. You sure do know how to make a pan heat up!
- I appreciate you because you listen to me when I need to vent. Have I cleared the vents lately?
- I appreciate you because you go to work everyday. Your briefcase is so shiny!
- I appreciate you doing your homework every night without having to be asked. Do you have enough light?
What are some clues that you can come up with?
