Even if you aren’t a huge football fan, you more than likely know what is happening on Sunday, February 1. The Superbowl.

Here are some ideas on how you can celebrate Superbowl 43 without breaking the bank and still have fun.

  • Head over to Dollar General for a free pair of 3-D glasses. You’ll want them for some of the half-time commercials.
  • Make Superbowl Sunday a family get together day. See how many of your friends you can get together. Find out if any of them have a Clubhouse that your group can rent, or belong to a church with a gymnasium or media room. People who are interested in the game can watch it on a projection screen, while others who aren’t interested in the game can play board games or just chit chat.
  • Have everyone bring something to share with the group, so that no one bears the entire burden of food expenses.
  • Have these Superbowl Crossword Puzzles ready to hand out in case of any downtime
  • Try some of these recipes for healthier Superbowl Fare

Have a fun time watching the Superbowl, and may the best team win!

I plan to see how much I can stitch during the game, hubby will be watching for sure. A co-worker and her hubby are going to be there. He will be, actually she’s traveling with him but not going to the game. I get a kick out of Ohio State football, but can’t get to excited about the pro’s. Though I did watch last week’s game with Baltimore and The Steelers…it was a good game.
