Simple Pleasures - Laughter, the Best Medicine
Have you seen the new type of greeting cards which play music when you open them? Some of them are just normal songs, others may have barking dogs, and still others may have laugh out loud worthy songs.
This past December I was getting ready to head out to CA to visit family for the holidays. Before leaving, I decided to check my mail one more time.
I was so glad that I did! In the mail I found a birthday greeting card from my brother and his wife. It was unexpected because my birthday had been several weeks earlier. 
Growing up my brother and I had our share of sibling rivalry, like most kids do. But then I went off to college, and somehow our relationship changed. The rivalry ended and we became good friends.
I don’t tend to keep very many greeting cards, but this particular one I will keep indefinitely. Anytime I need a laugh or a pick me up, all I’ll need to do is open it up and enjoy.
